UNITED
COLOURS OF INGERLAND |
|
“The
United Colours of Ingerland”
features Asian football
fan Kambi Thandi on his
first ever World Cup journey.
In preparation for the occasion
he even had the Three Lions
of England tattoed on his
leg.
|
In
the documentary - Kambi
reveals his fears about
becoming a target for racists
and neo-Nazis in Germany.
He meets veteran black and
Asian fans who braved monkey
chants and rascist abuse
following England at home
and abroad. In Frankfurt
and Nuremberg, where England's
first two matches are played,
he meets a new generation
of young, happy-go-lucky
fans flying the flag for
England. |
